CHINA, AZERBAIJAN: RECIPROCAL VISITS PROMOTE EXPANSION OF RELATIONS
Baku, 16 March (AzerTAc). Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Republic (Azerbaijan Parliament) on 16 March met with the outgoing Ambassador of China to Azerbaijan Chzhan Khaichzhou.
The meeting mainly focused on the historical relations between the two countries. As noted, Azerbaijan attaches special attention to development of relationship with China.
Chairman of Milli Majlis stressed necessity of developing the inter-parliamentary ties, noting that reciprocal visits significantly promote expansion of relations. Speaker Asadov highly assessed diplomatic activity of the Chinese Ambassador in republic.
The Ambassador expressed gratitude for cordial attitude and hospitality he faced in Baku, emphasizing he would and further make efforts for development of bilateral relations.
Parties have exchanged views on a number of other questions of mutual interest as well.
