More than 25 Arabic and English actors are staging Richard III: An Arab Tragedy - an adaptation of the original Shakespearian play later this month in three performances in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The events are being organised by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) and presented by the Kuwaiti Sulayman al Bassam Theatre.
Richard III: An Arab Tragedy, originally commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company, and performed in Arabic with English subtitles, will have its UAE debut on the 20th March, at Al Ain's Al Jahili Fort with another two performances being held in Abu Dhabi on the 29th and 30th March at Dhafrah Theatre in the Cultural Foundation building.
Live discussions following each performance will be held on stage with the playwright and director Sulayman Al Bassam, together with the cast.
