NBB exclusive Partner of IRONKIDS, IRONGIRL

Manama, Dec. 4 (BNA): The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB), the Kingdom’s leading provider of retail and commercial banking services, was announced as the Exclusive Partner of IRONKIDS and IRONGIRL challenges set for the second year in a row to take place in Bahrain on 7th December 2018 as part of IRONMAN 70.3 Middle East Championship Bahrain. IRONKIDS and IRONGIRL are running events dedicated to providing a supportive, energetic and empowering atmosphere for young athletes pursuing a healthy and active lifestyle. IRONKIDS participants should be under the age of 14 years and are categorised as follows: age group of 12-14 years will run for 2.5km, 10-12 years for 1.5km, 8-10 years for 1km, 6-8 years for 500m, 4-6 years for 250m, 4 and under for 100m. IRONKIDS Aquathlon will incorporate participants below the age of 17 years old with 6 age groups from the birth years: 2001 – 2014. IRONGIRL race will comprise of girls and women above the age of 15 years and will run a distance of 5km.   Commenting on its support for the event, Jean Christophe Durand, Chief Executive Officer at NBB, said, "NBB is delighted to support the IRONMAN 70.3 Middle East Championship Bahrain as IRONKIDS’ and IRONGIRL’s Exclusive Partner.
