UAE, Lebanon sign security MoU
The UAE and Lebanon inked yesterday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for boosting joint security cooperation.
The MoU signed today by HH Lt.General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Interior, with his Lebanese counterpart Ziad Baroud on the sideline of the 26th meeting of the council of Arab interior ministers being hosted by Lebanon.
Sheikh Saif said the MoU would lay down the legal frameworks for cooperation between the two ministries.
For his part, the Lebanese minister said the MoU would further bolster the fruitful bilateral cooperation.
