Telecommunication firms offer attractive packages
Abu Dhabi, April 13, 2009 (WAM) - Telecommunication companies in the UAE are vying to give their customers the best deals with du launching an ‘Elite Plan’ on Sunday which offers monthly rewards of up to 75 per cent off on international calls.
Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, commonly known as du, announced the plan, with the motto ‘Smart people, smart choices’. The promotion targets high-end individuals with the option of prepaid or postpaid accounts according to a report by “Khaleej Times.”
The plan’s monthly rewards will depend on the volume of calls. “When the world is going through a financial crisis, the right strategy is to offer more value for money. Elite Plan offers more value for money,” Osman Sultan CEO, du said during the launch.
“Its *dial feature that is first in the region, gives users the opportunity to avail the benefits of a prepaid plan such as the three recharge option with more time, more credit and more international time,” he said.
Creating ‘MyFamily’ from an Elite Plan line enables customers to enjoy its numerous privileges. Du also launched a product campaign, engaging Indian movie superstar Sharukh Khan.
Etisalat is offering its Wasel customers up to 20 bonus ‘airtime credit’ for a recharge of Dh50 and above from recharging their connections from April 13 to July 13.
The original credit will not expire and the extra credit bonus can be used for local or International voice calls or SMS within the same month.
Wasel subscribers can check their bonus credit by calling *121*3 from their mobile phones.
