Palestinian children arrive in Dubai for medical treatment

Dubai, April 16, 2009 (WAM) - Twenty Palestinian children arrived in Dubai yesterday with their escorts to get medical treatment as part of a campaign launched by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Establishment for Charity and Humanitarian Works (MBRE).
Some of the children will undergo operation, while others will receive prosthetic limbs, thanks to the campaign launched by the Foundation, in collaboration with the Palestinian Children Relief Fund (PCRF), a Palestine-based nonprofit organisation.
The children were received at the airport by Ibrahim Abu Milha, Chairman of the MBRE's Board of Trustees, and Lebanese singer Marcel Khalifa.
Khalifa will sing in a concert on Friday, the proceeds of which will go the PCRF and the children of Gaza.
