Abdullah bin Zayed meets AUC Chairman

Addis Ababa - Foreign Minister, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, met here yesterday the Chairman of the African Union Commission, Jean Ping, who warmly welcomed the UAE minister and led him to attend a meeting of African Union.
The AUC Chairman briefed Sheikh Abdullah about the AUC and its role. They discussed the latest developments on the regional and international scenes and other issues of mutual interest.
Sheikh Abdullah said the UAE is deeply interested in better coordination and cooperation with the AUC to discuss potential investment opportunities in African countries for UAE investors to enter into joint ventures with their African counterparts in the present and the future. – Emirates News Agency, WAM
