Nahyan Bin Mubarak donates Dh2mn to Al-Quds University

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research HE Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan has donated Dh2million to the Al-Quds University in Palestine.
The donation was made during the sixth annual charity dinner organised by the Al-Quds University Friends Committee at the Beach Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi on Friday to sponsor the students studying at the university.
Addressing the gathering, Sheikh Nahyan said that the relations of fraternity between UAE and Palestine are deep-rooted. UAE, under the prudent leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, always considered the Palestinian issue as the issue of all the Arabs and making its efforts to help the people of Palestine to regain their legitimate rights.
Sheikh Nahyan said that his presence in the charity dinner is an expression of his reverence for this educational institution and his faith in the role of the university in fulfilling its great mission of educating the children of Palestine, enabling them to live for their country.
