Sebangfai new primary school opens for public
(KPL) Students of Ban Tueng village, Sebangfai district, Khammouan province, enjoyed their new primary school after waiting for seven months of the construction.
The handover ceremony for new primary school took place on 20 May which was attended by a representative of Room to Read Project, Mr Viengkeo Norasin, Vice Chief of Sabangfai district, Mr Bounsy Phommasay, Vice Head of Education Service of Khammouan province, Mr Khamphong Vongsoulath and other officials concerned.
The construction work of the school started last September and it completed this month with a total construction of 419 million kip.The Room to Read Project gave 231 million kip to the construction and 188 million kip was the contribution of local people.
