Non-resource, non-energy exports of Primorye Region is 82.3% — Minister
VLADIVOSTOK, February 27. /TASS/. Non-resource and non-energy exports stand at 82.3% in the Primorye Region and are two times above the average figure for Russia, Minister of Economic Development of the region Andrey Blokhin told TASS.
"The foreign trade turnover of the Primorye Region surged by more than 20% as of 2022 year-end, with the achieved 16.2% increase in exports. The trend of expanding trade and economic cooperation of the Primorye Region to 120 countries was noted," the Minister said. "It is important to highlight that non-resource and non-energy export of the region accounts for 82.3%, which is more than two times higher than the average share in Russia," Blokhin said.
The region traditionally focuses on the East, the official said. The share of partners from Northeast Asia stood at more than 80% of exports from the region in 2022, Blokhin added.
