President of Djibouti decorates Dhahi Khalfan with the highest medal of the Republic

Dubai, June 24, 2009 (WAM) - President of Djibouti Ismail Omar Guelleh decorated Commander General of Dubai Police Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim with the 'Djibouti National Order of June 27', the highest medal of the Republic of Djibouti, in recognition of his efforts in enhancing cooperation between the Dubai Police and Djibouti national Police.
The medal also recognised the major role played by the Dubai Police chief in ensuring security in UAE, the Arab and world countries by giving his long experience in the field.
Receiving Lt. General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim and the accompanying delegation at the presidential palace in the capital of Djibouti, Guelleh said that the efforts of the Dubai Police Chief and his keenness for enhancing cooperation between the Dubai Police and the national police of Djibouti are very evident. Dhahi Khalfan clearly followed the policy of Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for extending help and assistance to the Arab brothers in other countries by way of transferring the skills, Guelleh stressed.
