Phu Tho, October 29 (VNA) - Vietnam’s U17 team grabbed a ticket to the AFC U17 Asian Cup 2025 Finals after a 1-1 draw against Yemen in the last match of Group I which took place at Viet Tri stadium in the northern province of Phu Tho on October 27.
As the match kicked off, Yemen had the upper hand, capitalising on a midfield turnover to score the opening goal. In the 12th minute, Abdulatef netted the first goal for Yemen following a well-timed pass from his teammate, putting Vietnam on the defensive early in the game.
