KSrelief Signs Cooperation Agreement to Operate Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Yemen's Marib

Riyadh, January 08, 2026, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has signed virtually a cooperation agreement with the International Association for the Care of War and Disaster Victims to implement the eleventh phase of operating the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Marib Governorate, Yemen.
The agreement was signed by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor-General for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed Al-Baiz and Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors Dr. Muawiya Mahmoud Harsouni.
The agreement aims to provide physical rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities, ensure follow-up care, and support their integration in serving the community. It includes developing individualized treatment plans, fitting various types of prosthetic limbs, providing functional rehabilitation services for prosthetic and orthopedic devices, and enhancing medical staff's professional and scientific capacities through specialized training. The project is expected to benefit 7,630 individuals.
This agreement comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian support to the brotherly Yemeni people across various fields, delivered through KSrelief.
