KSrelief Signs Cooperation Agreement to Operate Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Yemen's Aden

Riyadh, January 08, 2026, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has signed virtually a cooperation agreement with the International Association for the Care of War and Disaster Victims to implement the ninth phase of operating the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Aden Governorate, Yemen.
The agreement was signed by KSrelief Assistant Supervisor-General for Operations and Programs Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz and Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors Dr. Muawiya Mahmoud Harsouni.
Under the agreement, physical rehabilitation services will be provided for persons with disabilities, including follow-up care and support for their integration into community service. The project also covers patient diagnosis and individualized treatment plans, fitting beneficiaries with various types of prosthetic limbs, providing functional rehabilitation services for prosthetic and orthopedic devices, and enhancing the professional and scientific capacities of medical and technical staff to manage specialized cases. The project is expected to benefit 7,142 individuals.
This agreement comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian and relief projects, implemented through its humanitarian arm KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
