Fireworks Display in Commemoration of Ninth Congress of WPK Held

 Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- The great joy and strong emotion of DPRK people to splendidly celebrate the glorious Party Congress, which marked another milestone in the history of the sacred struggle for the development of the great Workers' Party of Korea and the victorious advance of socialist construction, are overflowing the whole country. 
The fireworks display "Do Prosper, My Motherland" was held with splendor in Kim Il Sung Square in the capital city on Wednesday night at the end of the military parade to commemorate the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The venue of the fireworks display was full of ardent reverence for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who leads the revolutionary cause of Juche along the road of one victory after another with his gifted ideological and theoretical wisdom and extraordinary leadership and gives our Party and people the dignity and honor to shine forever.
Amid the playing of song "Glory to General Kim Jong Un", fireworks picturing a large flower basket were displayed in the sky above the square, reflecting the greatest respect for the great Party Central Committee leading the country and people to the steady victory and success and bright future.
The night sky of the capital city was beautifully decorated with colorful fireworks set off to the tune of famous songs of the times reflecting the intense will, thoughts and feelings of all the people across the country who are shaping a brighter future with redoubled confidence and exertion, faithfully upholding the ideas and leadership of the WPK.
Looking at the splendid sparks, the spectators recollected with pride the days when they rushed toward the venue of the Ninth Congress of the Party, performing proud miracles and innovations at their worksites and posts.
The atmosphere of the fireworks display was at its height, with the thrilling sound of fireworks rising successively like the bouquets of congratulation to the motherly Party and the stormy cheers of spectators.
Giving the immutable truth that all dreams and ideals of the people and all glory and happiness of their lives can be realized only under the red Party flag of Juche, the letters "Strength of a powerful nation" and the emblem of the Party were displayed in the nocturnal sky of the capital city, redoubling the revolutionary enthusiasm and indomitable faith of all the participants to dynamically advance along the path of the new struggle indicated by the Ninth Congress of the WPK.
The fireworks display held in commemoration of the Ninth Congress of the WPK fully demonstrated the spirit and will of all the people who have turned out in the struggle for the steady prosperity of the great state under the uplifted banner of patriotism, rallied closer around the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. -0-
