North Korean economy developing at high pace-Kim.

PYONGYANG, October 1 (Itar-Tass) - The North Korean economy is
developing at high pace, claimed leader of the people's republic Kim
Jong-Il, as quoted by the Korean Central News Agency on Thursday.

The head of state expressed this point of view during a recent
inspection tour of Pyongyang industrial enterprises.
"Wonderful prospects open before us now, as never before, in building
a powerful and prospering state," Kim said. In the North Korean leader's
opinion, "the huge potential of the independent economy of the Democratic
People's Republic of Korea is now fully evident".
The KCNA reports that the country's leader expressed hope by the
results of the inspection trip that Pyongyang residents "will be in the
van of the great struggle for the country's prosperity".
