Independence Day is celebrated by Kazakh people living abroad
Tashkent, December 17, 2009 (Khabar) - Our compatriots in Uzbekistan are sincerely proud of successes, which were achieved by Kazakhstan during independence years. Bakhadyr Bakhritdinov is a scientist from Uzbekistan. He defended thesis for a Doctor's degree in Kazakhstan and worries about the Aral Sea for many years. He observes the events in our country with a great interest and ascertains that Kazakhstan is advancing very quickly.
Bakhadyr Bakhritdinov, professor, University of World Economy and Diplomacy of Uzbekistan, post-graduate researcher in sciences:
- Kazakhstan, which its economy developing effectively and the wellbeing of people is increasing, is on the 15th place in the world on the production of food staffs. The agricultural and industrial sectors are improving. Despite the crisis, Kazakhstan did not abandon its social liabilities and large projects, which require a lot of capital injections. Recently, Kazakhstan opened the Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-China transnational gas pipeline. I believe that such projects are steps to the future.
In honour of the Independence Day the Kazakh national and cultural centre in Uzbekistan is going to organize traditional soiree, entitled “A bow to historical homeland”.
Usen Askarov, representative of Kazakh National Culture Centre of Uzbekistan:
- Political stability, international accord and tolerance have become a basis for the election of Kazakhstan as a chairman of the OSCE in 2010. I believe that Kazakhstan will implement its mission as a chairman of the OSCE and bring Europe and Asia together.
Zhumagul Alimbekova, responsible secretary of Republican Kazakh newspaper “Nurly Zhol”:
- Currently Kazakhstan is an authoritative state with which the whole world community reckons. Grand Astana that was constructed during short period of time on the banks of Ishim river, surprises and admirers. As President Nazarbayev says, it became the “heart of Eurasia”.
